The brief
Craig Trettau spent decades leading flagship retail design for Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic before founding Left Coast Design Studio in San Francisco. His press in Forbes and the SF Chronicle didn't link back to him. He needed a site that presents him as an executive creative leader, not just another designer. He needed a site that presents him as an executive creative leader, not just another designer.

The site
We organized the site around how Craig actually works: retail and brand, fine dining and hospitality, and a separate consulting offer for board-level advisory.

The work
Fifteen project case studies, from Gap's Ginza flagship in Tokyo to Michelin-caliber dining rooms in San Francisco, sit in a CMS his team can keep current.

Every project page carries the client, scale, collaborators and outcome.
Found by name
Structured data connects Craig's identity to his press coverage, and an llms.txt gives AI assistants a clean summary of his career.
On the live site
The site as it runs today, on a laptop and a phone.

As a design studio, we're hard to impress. UpSunday matched the craft of our own work: clean lines, perfect proportions, and nothing on the page that doesn't need to be there.
